What we correct
We correct material errors involving names, quotations, figures, dates, locations, affiliations, captions, context or other facts that could mislead a reader. Minor spelling or formatting changes that do not alter meaning may be fixed without a formal note.
How requests are reviewed
The newsroom checks the request against source material and the article’s editorial record. Please include the article URL, the disputed passage, supporting evidence and a way to contact you.
Updates and transparency
Corrected articles retain their canonical URL and display an accurate modified date. When context or a significant factual conclusion changes, the newsroom may add an explanatory correction or editor’s note.
