The official trailer for **Vibe** is out, introducing Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava as two wildly unprepared friends pulled into a national-security mission led by Preity G Zinta’s formidable Madam H.

Written, directed and co-produced by Kemmu, the action-comedy places Hardik (Kemmu) and Bugs (Shrivastava) at the centre of a chaotic recruitment drive. The pair are not trained operatives; the joke is that they are forced into an espionage operation precisely because they seem least equipped to handle one.

The new footage expands on the premise set up by the earlier teaser, mixing chase sequences, comic panic and a friendship under pressure. Preity’s Madam H is positioned as the mission’s commanding force, while Kemmu and Shrivastava’s characters stumble through the consequences of being drafted into a threat far beyond their ordinary lives.

The cast also includes Vanshika Dhir, Dinesh Lal Yadav, Yashpal Sharma and Salem Kali. Veteran actor Sharmila Tagore appears in a brief cameo, marking the first time Kemmu has directed his mother-in-law. At the Mumbai trailer launch, Kemmu said Tagore agreed after asking for the film’s synopsis, then told him the request had been a “trick question.”

Vibe is Kemmu’s second feature as director after 2024’s *Madgaon Express*, but it gives him a wider set of responsibilities: he is also the film’s writer, lead actor and producer. He produces with Chirag Nihalani under the Drongo Films banner, making the film the banner’s first production.

The trailer’s clearest pitch is a broad big-screen entertainer built around mismatched amateur spies rather than sleek professionals. That gives Preity a decisively action-oriented part and lets Kemmu and Shrivastava carry the comic friction as their characters are pushed from everyday aimlessness into an undercover operation.

Amazon MGM Studios India presents *Vibe*, which is scheduled to open in cinemas on September 18, 2026.
