Punjabi Virsa Maryland was the organization that put on the very first Punjabi cultural event.

The ceremony started off with the singing of the National Anthem of the United States, which was followed by a two-minute moment of silence in memory of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala and the innocent children and teachers who were slain in a shooting at a school in Texas.

Sukhpal Singh Dhanoa took the stage first, followed by a DJ, Punjabi Giddha, and other forms of entertainment. We saw some things. Everyone was mesmerized by the children’s face painting and the magician’s performance. Guests posed for photos in front of a beloved Punjabi Ford tractor parked outside the facility.

Mr. Dilvir Singh Bira and Mr. Baljit Singh Bali said that the Punjabi Heritage Institute had planned this event in order to improve the community’s mutual understanding and to educate the children about their heritage.
