Saif Ali Khan takes the spotlight in **Rangiyara**, the newly released Haiwaan song that introduces his character through a buoyant ferry journey rather than the thriller’s darker promotional mood.

Released on August 31, the track is composed by Pritam, with lyrics by Yatindra Mishra and English lyrics by Thomson Andrews. Shaan, Sukhwinder Singh and Romy perform the song, which places Saif’s character among fellow passengers for a music-led sequence on open water.

The video offers an extended look at Saif’s visually impaired character as he joins the impromptu jam and plays guitar during the ride. That is a notably warmer register than Haiwaan’s earlier suspense-heavy material, using the song to establish personality and companionship before the film’s central conflict takes over.

Rangiyara is the second released song from Priyadarshan’s Hindi thriller, which reunites Saif with Akshay Kumar on screen. The wider cast includes Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, Rajpal Yadav, Sharib Hashmi, Rajesh Sharma, Pahal Chaudhary and Manoj Joshi.

The release also gives Haiwaan’s music campaign a substantial creative roster: Pritam’s composition is carried by three established playback voices, while the video uses the ferry setting to make Saif—not just the film’s plot—its central attraction. The single is listed as a new August 31 release across Pritam’s official streaming catalogue.

Haiwaan is scheduled for a September 11 theatrical release worldwide.
