Farah Khan has shared an emotional farewell as her triplets, Czar, Diva and Anya, leave home to begin higher studies at three different US campuses. The filmmaker and choreographer marked the transition with photographs posted on Instagram on September 6, describing the moment as three separate goodbyes happening at once.

If u thought moving ur kid to college was hard.. try doing it 3 times! 3 cities, 3 campuses..3 goodbyes! 3 pieces of my heart,” Khan wrote. She ended the message with an affectionate send-off: “Jao jee lo apni zindagi,” while reminding the young adults that “all roads lead back to Dad & mom. (sic)

The siblings are pursuing different academic interests. Diva is set to study entrepreneurship and finance at Babson College in Massachusetts. Anya will study economics and data science at New York University, while Czar is headed to Emory University in Atlanta to focus on artificial intelligence in business. The university details were also reported in connection with an earlier school post announcing the children’s destinations and chosen fields.

Khan shares the triplets with filmmaker Shirish Kunder. The couple welcomed them through in-vitro fertilisation in February 2008, when Khan was 43. She has previously spoken about the medical risks associated with carrying a triplet pregnancy and said doctors advised her to consider reducing one of the foetuses. Khan chose to continue with the pregnancy.

The Instagram post prompted supportive comments from Karan Johar, Sunita Kapoor, Anaita Shroff Adajania, Kiku Sharda, Rhea Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Maheep Kapoor, Priya Dutt and Sania Mirza, among others. Their messages reflected the scale of the family milestone: three children leaving for separate cities and campuses at the same time.

For Khan, whose children have frequently appeared in her public posts, the send-off marks a clear shift into a new phase of family life. Her message combined the sadness of separation with a firm encouragement to begin independent lives—and a reminder that home remains the place they can return to.
