Ajith Kumar’s Gladiators moved into a new promotional phase on September 6 when its trailer was screened in theatres across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

The documentary follows the actor’s racing activities with the Ajith Kumar Racing team and is directed by Vijay. The trailer was reported to run for more than three minutes and received a U/A 13 certification from India’s Central Board of Film Certification.

The theatrical trailer launch is designed as an event rather than a routine online upload. It places Ajith’s motorsport identity at the centre of the campaign and gives fans an opportunity to see the project on the big screen before a wider digital release or additional promotional rollout.

Ajith has continued to maintain a parallel public identity as an actor and racing competitor. Gladiators draws on that less conventional part of his career, documenting endurance-racing participation involving the Ajith Kumar Racing team and former Formula 1 competitor Narain Karthikeyan.

The production is backed by Shalini Ajithkumar’s Golden Trophy Film Production banner. The creative team includes cinematographer Ribhu Sarma, editor Anthony and composer G.V. Prakash Kumar.

The trailer premiere is the latest confirmed development around the project and gives Gladiators a stronger cinema-facing hook than a standard promotional clip. Its appeal rests on the combination of a major Tamil star, real motorsport footage and a theatrical presentation built for his core audience.
